NCRC Policy Regarding Approved Lenders

NCRC works with clients who are making use of the lenders on the Approved Lender List. We do not work with lenders who are not on that list. From time to time lenders are added to this list. NCRC staff tries to ensure that major lending institutions are represented, and that lenders are geographically dispersed, as a convenience to our clients.

To be considered for addition to our approved lenders list you must send a letter to the NCRC Board of Directors explaining the following:

  1. Why you wish to be approved as a lender with NCRC
  2. Your knowledge of the programs of your lending institution and those of NCRC that can be used to assist clients
  3. What you believe you offer our clients

The Board will make a decision at the next Board meeting.

Also from time to time, lenders are removed from the list of approved lenders. A new lender is not appointed by the lending institution upon the retirement of a previous lender, but must apply for approved status. Generally the reasons a lender is removed include but are not limited to retirement, request, and no longer wishing to serve NCRC clients.

When a lender is removed from the list of approved lenders, that action will be either acknowledged or approved by the Board at its next meeting.
